Kansas Mae Stein

Cattaraugus – Kansas Mae Stein was born silent on September 21, 2024. Kansas was the deeply treasured and longed-for daughter of Kayl and Sierrah Stein.

She leaves behind her sister, Kennedy Stein, and two brothers, Kannon and Knox Stein. Also surviving are paternal great-grandparents, Jan Stein of East Otto, and Pat (Dewey) Dankert of East Otto. Lovingly survived by paternal grandparents, Wayne (Deb) Stein of Cattaraugus, and maternal grandparents Rich Emery of Gowanda and Sonya Emery of Gowanda. Also survived by a paternal uncle and aunt, Tyler (Lilleigh) Stein of Cattaraugus, and a maternal uncle, Alex (Kelsey) Emery of Gowanda, and two maternal aunts, Andriah Emery of Rome, and Ashley Bond of Gowanda, as well as several great-aunts and uncles and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11 am from Liberty Park Cemetery in Cattaraugus.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley.
