Nicholas F. Byczynski passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, in Brocton, NY, surrounded by thelove of his family. Born on October 8, 1953, in Dunkirk, NY, Nicholas was a man of integrity and warmth,traits that endeared him to all who knew him.

Nicholas’s early years in Dunkirk were shaped by the devoted upbringing of his parents, the late Raymond and Florence (Worosz) Byczynski. His sister Renee McCloskey predeceased him, as did hisbrother Michael Byczynski.

His life was richly shared with his beloved wife, Roszlyn E. (Parker) Byczynski and his two sons Nicholas (Tracy) Byczynski and Christopher Byczynski. His legacy continues to shine through his seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A graduate of Dunkirk High Schools, Nicholas dedicated 29 years as a skilled tool and dye maker with Ames True Temper, where he honed his craft both in Dunkirk, NY, and Camp Hill, PA. His work was notjust a job but a testament to his commitment to excellence. Nicholas’s zest for life was apparent in his myriad interests. An avid Harley Davidson rider, he found freedom on the open road. He cherished his cats, relished the history of classic cars, delighted in birdwatching, and enjoyed the intricacies of gun collecting. His hands were rarely still, as he expressed his creativity through woodworking, and he would often be found relaxing with a cold beer, embodying thespirit of a true jack of all trades. He leaves behind a loving family, including his siblings Reva Byczynski, Rae (Thomas) Zajas, Rebecca (Steven) Byczynski – Bradley, Phillip Byczynski and a sister in law Suzy Byczynski along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly. Nicholas’s indelible mark on this world will not be forgotten as his family and friends continue to celebrate his story, one of a life well lived and well loved.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
