Herman A. Holtz Jr.

Perrysburg – Herman A. Holtz Jr., 90, formerly of Arizona and Perrysburg, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Chautauqua County Nursing Home and Rehab in Dunkirk. He was born on May 17, 1934 in Perrysburg, son of the late Herman and Hazel (Bastiedo) Sr.

He was also a US Army veteran, having served from 1957-1959. For many years Herman operated his own heating and air conditioning business, out of Payson, AZ, as well as in Gowanda. He was also a 25 year member of the Elks Club in Payson, AZ.

Herman is survived by a niece, Darlene (Brett) Thomas of Forestville, a step-daughter, Suzanne (Ryan) Akre of AZ, a grandchild, Eric Holtz, and a special friend Sara Jane (late Da) Sion of Collins.

Besides his parents, Mr. Holtz is predeceased by a son, Randy Holtz, and a sister, Helen Holtz.

Private family services will be held.
