Raymond R. Brewster
Raymond R. Brewster, 89, a resident of Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, formerly of Forestville, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Buffalo on Feb. 25, 1935, the son of the late Raymond and Eleanor (Hertel) Brewster.
Raymond was a graduate of McKinley High School and worked as a Welder for the former Duriron in Angola for 25 years. He also worked for the former Lablaw’s as a Manager for many years.
Raymond was a volunteer fireman with Evans Center Fire Department. He enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles and being with family.
Survivors include four daughters Melissa (John) Gillette of Perrysburg, Fredricka (Jim) Heinrich of Cassadaga, Faith (Mike) Jaromin of Macedon, NY, Kelly (Butch) Gillette of Derby; five sons George Brewster of Perrysburg, Ronald (Lisa) Brewster of Forestville, Doug Brewster of Angola, Tim (Mindy) Brewster of Forestville, Charles (Kim) Brewster of Forestville; two brothers Theodore (Betty) Brewster and Irving Brewster. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, some great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Carol Ann (Bradford) Brewster, an infant daughter Jacqueline Brewster; grandson Leo Rivera; two sisters Joan Funke, and Jean Brewster; two brothers James, and Richard Brewster, and long-time friend Jane Cannizzaro.
There will be no services observed at this time. Arrangements are by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
