Joseph J. Dziduch Jr., 83, of Fredonia, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at UPMC Hamot , Erie, PA, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Dunkirk on Aug. 27, 1941, the son of the late Joseph and Adele (Kuehn) Dziduch Sr. Joe attended Forestville Central School and worked as a mechanic for the former B.R. DeWitt, Inc., Dunkirk for 36 years. He operated the former family Dairy Farm in Arkwright.

Joe was a member of the Kosciusko Club, Cherry Creek Sno-Goers and the Blessed Mary Angela Parish of St. Hedwig in Dunkirk. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. Joe was an avid Bills and Sabres fan.

Survivors include wife of 63 years Marcianna “Marcia” (Sobczak) Dziduch of Fredonia, whom he married on Dec. 2, 1961 in St. Hedwig RC Church, Dunkirk; a daughter Anne (Tom) Narraway, of Forestville; two sons Joseph (Lori) Dziduch, of Cassadaga, Rodney (Kris) Dziduch, of Fredonia; five sisters Mary Leckliter, of Fredonia, Darlene (Paul) Miller, of Fredonia, Marie Mekus, of Fredonia, Shirley (Bill) Gasper, of Fredonia, Dorothy Coon, of Fredonia; and a brother Paul (Joyce) Dziduch, of Lebanon, TN. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his stepfather Elaim Elliott, brothers George and Albert Elliott and a sister Karen Price.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main St., Forestville on Tuesday from 4- 7PM. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated from Blessed Mary Angela Church of St. Hyacinth’s, 295 Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
