Lily K. Chu

She was born April 8, 1935 in China, daughter of the late Chi Wen Kuo and Molin Chang Kuo. Lily emigrated to the United States during World War II. She and her husband Charles moved to Fredonia in the 1960s, where they raised their family. Charles died in 1999.

She enjoyed gardening and reading romance novels. Always an active woman, she took part in both Yoga and Tai Chi.

Lily is survived by her son, Alan Chu, of Fredonia; her daughter, Lisa (Richard) Siegel, of Littleton, CO; grandchildren, Zoey and Jered Siegel, and her brother, Sam (Mary) Kuo. Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Ben (late Maggie) Kuo.

Visitation will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, NY on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am, where a funeral service will follow at 10:30 am. Lily’s service will be streamed live on her site on the funeral home website, larsontimkofuenralhome.com, starting at 10:30 am.
