Florance H. Reynolds

Florance H. Reynolds age 89 of Gowanda passed away early Tuesday morning June 11, 2025 at home surrounded by family.

Born in Rochester, NY March 23, 1936 the daughter of Henry and Helen (Brown) Smith.

Florance married Ralph S. Reynolds in Franklinville, NY Sept.19, 1953, Ralph passed away April 4, 1994.

Florance retired from the former Gowanda Psychiatric Center where she worked as a Therapy Aid. A member of the Immanual Lutheran Church of Gowanda , Florance was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting .

Survivors include three children; Debbie (Douglas) Seaner of Akron, NY, Cindy (David) Grudzien of South Carolina, Todd Reynolds of Gowanda along with several grand , great and great-great grandchildren. Florence is also survived by 2 brothers George Smith of Jacksonville, Fl., Donald (Vicki) Smith of Franklinville along with many nieces and nephews.

Florance was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of nearly 41 years, 2 sons; James Reynolds (2007) , Bradley Reynolds (2008), sisters Shirley Zinter, Eleanor Oney and Grace Auge.

A graveside service will be held Friday June 20, 2025 @ 11:00am in the Mount Prospect Cemetery 52 Chestnut St. Franklinville, NY , (please assemble at cemetery)

Memorials, if desired, may be made to a local charity of ones choice.
