Wesley A. Bettker Jr.

Wesley A. Bettker Jr., 74, of Gowanda, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Fiddler’s Green Nursing Home in Springville. He was born on Aug. 16, 1950 in Gowanda, son of the late Wesley and Viola (Philbrick) Bettker Sr. He was a US Army veteran having served from 1970 to 1972. Wesley married the former Sandra King, who predeceased him in 2016.

For many years, he worked as a mechanic locally in Gowanda until his retirement. He always enjoyed maintaining his home and mowing lawn, as well as going for rides and driving throughout the area. He was known to always have dogs, enjoying each one of them and in particular, Buddy. He was also an attendee of the Gowanda Assembly of God.

He is survived by a brother, Gary Bettker of Gowanda and a sister, Janet (Richard) Roth of Gowanda. Also surviving are four step-sons; Robert Rose of Olean, Richard Rose of Westfield, Roland Rose of Redonia, and David Rose of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.
