A few years later, Brandon made the decision to enroll at Buffalo State University, earning a Master’s Degree in Education.
Brandon started his teaching career within the Buffalo Public School’s system before making his move to North Carolina. In his 15 years teaching in North Carolina, he taught at Albemarle Middle School, Northeast Middle School, and Mint Hill Middle School, until finding his home at Cox Mill High School where he taught Computer Science and Information Technology as part of their Career and Technical Education Department. Brandon was also a part-time employee at both Percent and High Branch Breweries in Concord, NC. Percent Brewery put it best “This dude poured his heart into everything he did for us, with a dedication that consistently blew us away. No one else could quite do it like him. He was always there for us, whether right beside us or just a phone call away, generously sharing his IT wisdom or making us burst into laughter with his perfectly terrible and endearing jokes.”
To those that knew Brandon, he was a true friend, a confidant, and irreplaceable part of the community.
