Arlene W. Nobles

Arlene W. Nobles, 98, of South Dayton, N.Y. went home to be with her Lord on Aug. 6, 2025 in the home she and her late husband George built together 74 years ago. In addition to George, Arlene was also proceeded in death by her parents Eric Wallin and Minnie (Wise) Wallin Hurd, Stepfather, Floyd Hurd, sisters Irene Moss Wells and Elise June Wells, one brother Walter Wallin and two great grandsons, Jack and Max Paradowski. Those left behind to cherish her memory are sons Charles (Bonnie) Nobles, Scott (Jing Zhou) Nobles, daughters Mindy (Phillip Justice), Paula (Edward) Lincoln and one special sister-in-law Dorothy Nobles.To her delight she had eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great great- granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Arlene was a graduate of South Dayton High School. In her earlier years Arlene enjoyed making quilts with ladies from home bureau, knitting, crocheting, sewing and reading. She attended the South Dayton United Methodist Church and was faithful in always working the Rummage Sales. Her employment included working in two department stores in South Dayton, picking grapes, CB Foods and in later years Bush industries. In retirement Arlene and George enjoyed travelling, especially their trip to the 100th Anniversary of the Rose Bowl Parade.

At the request of Arlene, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family memorial will be held later.
