Isreal Rivera

1950-2025

Isreal Rivera, 74, of Dunkirk, NY passed away on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025 at Buffalo General Hospital. Isreal was born Dec. 24, 1950, in Caronlina, Puerto Rico, the son of Catalino and Carmen Rivera. He worked at the Carriage House and enjoyed horse racing. He was an avid walker.

Isreal is survived by two daughters Maria (Jose Maissonet) Rivera of Fredonia, and Carmen Rivera of Dunkirk; eight grandchildren Joseph, Adrian, Leyshalee, Mya, Adrian, Alina, Sincere and Nevaeh; a twin brother, Samuel Rivera, and a sister, Isabel Morales; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Israel is predeceased by two brothers Daniel and Manuel, and a sister, Elsa.
