Jeffrey Richard Lascola (Chico)

He was born on June 2, 1969 in Dunkirk, NY to Richard and the late Mary Grace (Gugino) Lascola. He is survived by his father, his sister, Julie Lascola and her partner Karen Bogdon.

Jeff was a graduate of Fredonia Central School, Jamestown Community College, and the State University of New York at Fredonia. He worked at Buffalo Place and then at the Village of Fredonia Water Treatment Plant as an operator for 22 years. Jeff was proud to have worked at both places.

His passion was sports. His teams were the Buffalo Bills, the Buffalo Sabres, the New York Yankees, and Penn State College Football. He was a walking encyclopedia of sports trivia and could tell you the stats for all of his teams.

He was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on his face and his laughter was one-of-a-kind. He never had anything bad to say about anyone and would do anything for his family and friends. Jeff is sadly missed by all.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Fredonia Beaver Club, 64 Prospect St., Fredonia, on Friday Sept. 12, 2025, from 6-10 PM.

In remembrance of Jeff, any memorial donation may be made to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240, and/or to the Fredonia Fire Department, 80 W. Main S., Fredonia.
