Kenneth G. Hawkins

1951-2025

Kenneth G. Hawkins, 73, of Leon and formerly of Gowanda, passed away at his home on July 31, 2025. He was born on Aug. 28, 1951 in Gowanda, son of the late Kenneth F. and Lulu (Steinfait) Hawkins. For many years, he logged for Ellington Hardwoods.

Kenny is survived by a son, Kenneth Hawkins Jr. of Gowanda, and three daughters; Tammy (William) Jones of GA, Ruth (Rondal) Smith of GA, and Carol Preston of GA. Also surviving are five brothers; Lloyd Hawkins of Gowanda, Fred Hawkins of FL, Douglas (Liz) Hawkins of Forestville, Leon Hawkins of Gowanda, and Frank Hawkins of Gowanda, as well as five sisters; Lillian (Dennis) Kennedy of Gowanda, Alice (Dan) Dankert of Otto, Dorothy (Charles) Scott of IN, and Evelyn Lee of Versailles. Also surviving are several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Kenny is predeceased by a daughter, Sandy Dunlap, a brother, David Hawkins, and a sister, Karen Hawkins.

Private family services will be held.
