Mary A. Jochym

Mary A. Jochym, 96, of Dunkirk, entered into rest on Aug. 5, 2025. A long time parishioner of Blessed Mary Angela Roman Catholic Church of St. Hedwig, and she was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Siwinski) Jochym.

A Dunkirk High School graduate, she had been employed at Van Raalte and later at M. Wiles.

Mary is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brothers Louis, Sylvester, Andrew, Henry, Dominic, and her sister Veronica Poweski.

Funeral services will be held in private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.; 56 E. Doughty St., Dunkirk, NY.
