Beverly A. (Dean) Gould, 71, of Dunkirk, NY, died Tuesday Sept. 9, 2025 at Brooks Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 27, 1954 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, daughter of Ruth (Saden) Dean and the late Calvin F. Dean. Bev enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking and baking. She was a Life Member of American Legion Post # 62 and served as president of the Woman’s Auxiliary at the American Legion Frank Acquavia Memorial Post # 1344 for several years. She worked for a brief time at Dahlstrom Industries in Falconer, Briggs Dairy and farm work at Sieberts’s Farm. For over 20 years Bev was a “Lunch Lady” at School # 5 in Dunkirk.
On March 15, 1974, she married Ed Gould. They had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past March.
Bev is survived by her husband, Ed Gould; her mother, Ruth Dean; her two sons: Todd (Amanda) Gould, of Baltimore, MD, Kevin Gould, of Gloversville, NY; and her daughter, Kimberly Gould, of Brocton, NY; her brothers: David, Roy and Douglas Dean; her sisters: Diane Atkins and Loretta Dean;
She is predeceased by her father, Calvin Dean and her brother, Raymond Dean.
Funeral services will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave. Fredonia, Friday, 11 am. Following the funeral service a luncheon will be held at the American Legion Post # 62, 211 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, at 12 noon. Online condolences may be made at larsontimkofuneralhome.com.
