James A. Miller

James A. Miller, 92, passed away Saturday Sept. 13, 2025 with his son by his side. He was born Feb. 24, 1933 to the late James and Fern Miller. Due to his mother’s passing at an early age, he was raised by his stepmother, the late Ruth (Wilson) Miller. Jim served in the United States Air Force in Waco, TX as an aircraft mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to car shows throughout Chautauqua County with family , friends and neighbors. James is survived by his children: Polly (Vince) Cimino of Jamestown, NY, Jimmy (Barbara Buck), of Brocton, NY, Paula (John) Wise, of Fredonia, NY and Allen (Robin) Miller, of Erie , PA; grandchildren: Sean (Nicole) Wise, of Hamburg, NY, Ryan (Eileen) Wise, of Dunkirk, NY, Jessica (Ezekiel) Resto, of Fredonia, NY and Stephanie Miller, of Hamburg, NY; great- grandchildren: Joseph Cimino Wise, of Hamburg, NY, Michael & Zoey Wise, of Dunkirk, NY, Jessie, Anaya and Ayana Resto, of Fredonia, NY. Besides his parents, James is predeceased by his sisters: Eileen (John) Olsen, Beverly (Florian) Cieslewicz and one niece: Diane (Cieslewicz) Mekus.
