Rose J. Bradley

Rose J. (DiLorenzo) Bradley, affectionately known as “Dee Dee”, 94, of Dunkirk, passed away Thursday evening, Sept. 18, 2025 at the Dunkirk Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Dunkirk on Aug. 20, 1931, she was the wife of the late Truman C. Bradley, Sr. and daughter of the late Henry and Winifred (Pietro) DiLorenzo.

A lifelong resident of Dunkirk, Rose graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1950. Throughout her career, she worked at various retail stores in the area. Family was at the heart of Rose’s existence. She cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In her leisure time, Dee Dee found joy in reading and watching her favorite television shows, including “The Price is Right,” “Jeopardy!,” “Wheel of Fortune,” and “NCIS,” as well as various soap operas.

Rose’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Dunkirk Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their excellent care of Dee Dee.

Surviving Rose includes her loving children Kathy (John) Dyckes, Truman (Linda) Bradley, Jr., and Mark Bradley; grandchildren Byron (Candace) Dyckes, Christina (Brad) Mealy, Jennifer (Jeremy) Thomason, Alicia Bradley and William Bradley; great-grandchildren Avery, Jackson, Parker, Camden, John, Anna, Tucker, and Wade; sister-in-law Faith DiLorenzo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
