Adrienne F. (Kubasik) Fisk

Adrienne F. (Kubasik) Fisk
Adrienne F. (Kubasik) Fisk, 91, of Fredonia, passed away peacefully on Oct. 12, 2025. She was taken home to be reunited with her two sons and her beloved husband, Albert E. Fisk. Adrienne was born on March 16, 1934, to the late Frank and Cecilia (Banach) Kubasik, and lived a life centered around family, love, and quiet strength.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon D. Fisk of Fredonia, NY. Adrienne was predeceased by her sons, H. Stephen Gloss of Dunkirk (wife Mary Gloss) and Michael J. Gloss of Westfield, both of whom she loved dearly and missed deeply.
She was born into a close family and shared a lifelong bond with her siblings. Adrienne is survived by her sister, Bernadine Tucker (the late Thomas), and was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur Kubasik (Eleanor) and Gerald Kubasik (Betty). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Adrienne’s greatest joy in life came from her grandchildren, with whom she spent countless hours over the years. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandson, Greyson Delcamp; granddaughters, Mia Delcamp, Megan Gloss, Brittany Gloss (Jon Elsner), Nichole Derenda (Gary Derenda); and grandson, Michael S. Gloss. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she found happiness in every moment spent with them. They were the center of her world, and she lit up whenever they walked into the room. Whether she was cheering from the bleachers, coloring at the kitchen table, enjoying dance recitals, or simply listening to their stories, Adrienne found purpose and laughter in every moment shared with them. Her grandchildren made her feel deeply loved, endlessly proud, and forever young at heart.
Adrienne was passionate about her work in retail selling shoes, a career that brought her great pride and purpose. She managed the Triangle Shoe Store on the avenue in Dunkirk and later worked in the shoe department at Sidey’s Department Store in the D&F Plaza, where she was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and friendly spirit. Outside of work, Adrienne enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including the changing seasons and the colors of autumn, watching her grandchildren play sports, visiting the casino, and spending time with her family.
Adrienne will be remembered for her strength, independence, and the love she carried for her family and friends throughout her life. Those who knew Adrienne will remember her quiet strength, her deep devotion to family, and her sharp, witty spirit that could brighten any moment.
A casual celebration of Adrienne’s life will be held at The White Inn in Fredonia on Nov. 1 at 1 p.m., and family and friends are welcome to attend.
Those wishing to honor her memory may do so with a donation to Chautauqua County Hospice. This organization was especially dear to her heart and one she faithfully supported every year.
