Lucile M. (Paschke) Inwood, 98, of Fredonia, NY, passed away Saturday October 18, 2025 at Garden Gate Health Care Facility. Lucile was born in North East, PA, the daughter of Harold and Helen (Beatty) Paschke. She graduated from Fredonia High School in 1945 and worked as Licensed Practical Nurse at the Chautauqua County Home until her retirement in 1988. She enjoyed reading, traveling with her sons, playing Rummikub, spending time with her beloved sisters, driving around in her PT Cruiser and weekend lunches at Aunt Millie’s Restaurant.
Lucile was well known for her love of cats. She was a longtime member of the Fredonia First Methodist Church.
Lucile is lovingly remembered by her son: Mark Inwood of Fredonia, NY; grandchildren: Janet (Jeff) Reel, of Syracuse, NY and Arron (Kristen) Inwood, of Silver Creek, NY; great-grandchildren: Crystal (Julian) Borowiak, of Hamburg, NY, Joseph Reed, of Buffalo, NY, Tiffany Inwood, of Buffalo, NY, Anthony Reel, of Syracuse, NY and Jaimie Reel, of Syracuse, NY; a brother, Bruce (Sandra) Paschke of Fredonia, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides her parents, Lucile is predeceased her husband, Laverne Inwood; her sons: Ricky and Lawrence Inwood; granddaughter, Carolyn Inwood; and sisters: Alice Mattson and Mary Cogliano.
Special thanks to all family and friends who kept in touch and visited with Lucile over the years. The letters, cards and smiling faces were constant sources of love and joy for her. She especially cherished visits from her beloved nieces Carol Jablonski and Sharon DeTamble. Many thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care of Chautauqua and Buffalo Hospice for their gentle and caring support any time of day.
Calling hours will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, NY, Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 from 12 -1pm where a funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Online condolences may be made at
