Rosella M. Potkovick

Passed away peacefully Oct. 11, 2025 at the Heritage Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Jamestown, NY. She was born Feb. 22, 1929 to Mary (Scalia) and Gustave Mancuso of Fredonia, NY. She was 96.

A Fredonia High School and State Teachers graduate, Rosella earned her Masters Degree in Education. She not only taught for many years, but tutored many children, helping them to achieve higher education.

Later in life, she owned and operated a successful real estate brokerage in Warren, PA. With her success, she learned to appraise and collect antique furniture. Rosella also loved to travel! She and her dear Aunt Caroline Patton, were fortunate enough to “See the World,” and bring back those experiences to friends and family.

She will surely be missed by her family; son, Gustav “Gus” (Lee Ellen) Potkovick, grandchildren, Jessica, Nicole, Eric, and Perry Potkovick, and Stacy Schrantz, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and daughter-in-law, Sally (Wilhelm) Potkovick.

In addition to her parents, Rosella will be reunited with her son Wilhelm (Sally) Potkovick, her infant twin sister, Lucille and brother, Louis Mancuso.

The family asks to please make donations to the Darwin R. Barker Library in memory of Rosella Mancuso Potkovick. She was an avid reader and supporter of the Library, and was known to read an entire book in just one night!

Funeral Services will be held Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, 2 PM at the Fantauzzi Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 12 to 2 PM prior to the services for fellowship and remembrance.
