Stephen L. Bonner

May 11, 1960 — October 26, 2025

Stephen Bonner, 65, of Dunkirk, NY passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025 at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center with his loving family by his side. In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Marie. Stephen is survived by his sister, Dorothy (Kirk) Bennett and step sister, Diann (Michael) Inch, nephews, and great nephews.

Earlier Stephen was musically and artistically inclined and enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, listening to music and was an avid reader. He worked several jobs through the years and he liked watching sporting events and was a New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills enthusiast. He enjoyed morning walks, his time at Matt’s News along with his morning coffee with his friends. Stephen was a parishioner of the Blessed Mary Angela Roman Catholic Church of St. Hyacinth.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 from 9-10 a.m. at R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc; 56 E. Doughty St., Dunkirk, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Blessed Mary Angela Roman Catholic Church of St. Hyacinth. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
