Tanya G. (Roshnow) Sobilo

She was born in Girard, PA on Aug. 14, 1952, to the late George and Lydia Roshnow. Tanya is survived by her husband of 46 years Roy Sobilo, daughter, Sarah Sobilo, son, Andrew Sobilo, and five grandsons. Also a sister, Natalie Vadella of Factoryville, PA Survives.

In addition to her parents, Tanya was preceded in death by her beloved son, David C. Schwabe (April 18, 2006).

Tanya worked several jobs throughout the years, making friends wherever she went. She will be especially missed by her best friend of over 50 years Nina.

Tanya’s greatest joy was being a mom, she loved her children fiercely. She was a great cook, her Baklava a favorite of anyone lucky enough to have tried it. Tanya was a lover of music and passed her great taste down to her kids. She had a huge heart for animals as well, adopting, feeding, and donating whenever she could.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Lakeshore Humane Society or a local animal shelter of your choice.

As per Tanya’s wishes Funeral services will be held in private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.; 56 E. Doughty St., Dunkirk, NY.
