Carol Ianello

Carol’s 56 year career began right out of high school working for the law offices of Bert Snyder and then Walter Drag before spending 20 years at the Village of Fredonia, until she retired in 2016.

Carol was active in both St. Anthony’s and Holy Trinity parishes, where she built long lasting friendships and contributed to the life of her church communities. She cherished time spent with her family and many friends and rarely missed an opportunity to connect. Though she never had children of her own, Carol devoted her life to her family. She raised her nephews, Rick and Randy, from a young age, guiding them with patience, strength, and unconditional love. Her influence shaped who they are today, and her nurturing spirit will continue to live on through their families.

Carol is preceded in death by her sisters Mary Lou Wyszynski and Joanne Mackowiak, and her brother Joseph Ianello. Carol is survived by her sister, Linda Sek, her nephews Rick Ianello and Randy Wyszynski, and their families, all of whom were blessed by her love and generosity. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and devotion to those she cared for. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
