Chad Bradigan, 52 of Fredonia, NY, passed away peacefully Nov. 9, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Chad is the son of Jerome and the late Mary “Mitzie” Bradigan. He was born in Dunkirk and was a lifelong resident of Dunkirk and Fredonia. He attended Holy Trinity School and Fredonia High School. Chad received his associates degree from Jamestown Community College and continued his education at Fredonia State where he studied geoscience. He had a love for rocks as he was a “rock nerd” and weather was always a talking point. Chad was a sports enthusiast as he participated in martial arts, baseball, snowboarding and all yard games. His passions ultimately were golf and bowling. In his bowling career he threw over ten 300 games and bowled in several leagues. Chad was inducted into National Bowling Hall of Fame for his performances. He worked as a bartender for over 35 years at various establishments including Shorewood Country Club, White Inn, Fred’s and finally Seneca Alleghany Casino. Chad had a million-dollar smile, an outgoing personality and could strike up a conversation with anyone.
