James Boothby

He is survived by his wife, Janice Boothby. Also survived by sons David, Tim, Michael, Jaime Boothby and their families; step daughters, Michele and Vicki Clark and their families; a sister, Kay Boothby; many other family members and good friends.

In addition to his parents Richard and Vi Boothby, Jim was predeceased by his first wife, Alice, his brother, Tom and a nephew.

Prior to retirement, Jim was the Deputy Director for the former JN Adam and Western New York Disability Services Office.

Jim was a man of deep faith and lived his life within the framework of those beliefs. There is no need for listing of material accomplishments as Jim’s purpose in life was defined by the way he lived. He was a fair man, a generous man and a kind man. That is his legacy and that is how he will be remembered.

Per Jim’s wishes, there was no formal service. Memorial donations may be made in Jim’s name to the animal care agency of your choice.
