Sally A. (Van Wey) Battaglia

Sally A. (Van Wey) Battaglia, 80, of Fredonia, NY, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2025. Sally was born Jan. 5, 1945 in Brocton, daughter of the late Norman and Lenora Van Wey.

Sally is survived by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Battaglia; two sons: Anthony S. “Scott” (Tarrie) Battaglia, of Williamsville, NY and Brett M. (Kellie Ann) Battaglia, of Gorham, Maine; grandchildren: Sarah and Kaitlin Battaglia, Kaira Koller, Matthew Klapp, Conor, Carson and Hayden Battaglia; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sally is predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

Sally greatly enjoyed time with her family, camping, photography, and music throughout her life. She also enjoyed art and was especially fond of Christmas.

Visitation will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 from 1-3 pm. Immediately following all are welcome to join the family for a celebration gathering at the White Inn, 52 E Main St., Fredonia.
