Victoria “Vicki” Bauer Lisk
After a life always trying to help others in need, Victoria “Vicki” Bauer Lisk,66, of Silver Creek, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025 at her home. Her loss is not unexpected as she bravely faced the challenges of multiple myeloma for over a decade.
Vicki was born on Nov. 13, 1958, and grew up in Irving, Texas. She was the daughter of Diane and the late James Bauer. She is one of six children. She eventually moved to East Aurora, NY with her sons Shane and Brandon. It was during that time that she met Robert “Bob” MacDougall, her longtime companion, best friend and caregiver.
Vicki was dedicated to every job she had, and each position revolved around helping those in need, from Heritage Centers (now the ARC of Erie County) to her latest position at the former Lakeshore Hospital in Irving, NY. During her sons’ young life, she was active with the Boys and Girls Club of East Aurora, NY. Vicki was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in early 2013, facing a stem cell transplant and numerous rounds of treatment, all while continuing to support others.
Vicki is survived by her companion, Bob MacDougall; her mother Diane Bauer, her sons, Shane and Brandon Lisk, four grandchildren, Emma, Madison, Sullivan and Everett Lisk.; five siblings, Cynthia (Jerry) Douglas, Kathleen, James, Robert (Connie) and Steven (Sherry) Bauer; also survived by several nieces & nephews.
