Antoinette J. Bishoff
Antoinette J. “Toni” Bishoff, 77, of Pearl Street, Forestville, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Silver Creek on Jan. 6, 1948, the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Korbas) Smith.
Toni was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1966. She received her Beautician’s License from the former Harper Method Beauty School and went on to open her own salon in Forestville in 1973, retiring from the business in 1990. Toni worked as a Head Teller for the former Evans National Bank in Forestville for eight years before retiring in 1998.
She enjoyed crafting, hand stitch quilting and painting. Toni was an avid NASCAR, Buffalo Bills and Daytona fan.
Survivors include two daughters; Julie Harris of Silver Creek, Jennifer (Harlan) Kohler of Forestville and a sister; Barbara McKoon of Fredonia. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Joseph & Kayla Kohler and Allen & Mitchell (Summer) Harris; two great-grandchildren, Relic Christopher and Isabelle Nicole. The family would like to give a special thanks to Toni’s aide Samantha Borgess, and her son, Alessandro. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David T. Bishoff, whom she married on June 1, 1967, in Dunkirk and who died on February 10, 2022, and a grandson, Christopher R. Reading, Jr.
Private Interment will be in the Forestville Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
