Joan H. Mosier

She was born Nov. 19,1927 in Manhattan, NY to her late parents Fitzhugh and Hazel (Hallenbeck) Jemison.

Joan married Jacob Mosier in 1964 and have been together for 61 years. She spent many years taking care of her family also helping with the family grape farm.

Joan enjoyed Bingo, Lawn Sailing, sitting by the Dunkirk pier and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Jacob Mosier; her children, Lance (Shirley) Cave, Bonnie Cave and Laura (Wayne) Hartinger; her grandchildren, Kelly, Christine, Barbara, Joshua, Travis, Ethan, Cari, Anna, Wayner, Rhonda, Shane, Robert, Michael, Wendy and Robin; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Judy and her sons, Byron, Randy, Richard (Butch), Kenny and Keith. Also, a grandson, Adam.

Relatives and friends may visit Morse Funeral Home 19 E. Main Street Brocton, NY Wednesday Dec. 17, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM where a funeral service will immediately follow.

Interment will be in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brocton Fire Department and or the American Legion Post 434 Brocton, NY
