Mary A. Dascenzo
Mary Ann Dascenzo, 87, of Dunkirk, New York, passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 4, 1938, in Dunkirk, Mary Ann lived a life centered on family, tradition, and togetherness.
She married the love of her life, Thomas Dascenzo Sr., on Aug. 31, 1955. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared countless cherished memories. Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Sr., and their son, Thomas Dascenzo Jr. She is survived by her son, Richard Dascenzo; her grandchildren, Jessica (Greg) Haight and Thomas Dascenzo III; step-grandchildren, Brandi (Brandon) Meacham and Jack Davi; and great-grandchildren, Lillee, Isaac, Zoey, and Grant.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her devotion to family traditions, her love of camping with friends, and her joy in preparing home-cooked meals and baked goods. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will live on for generations.
Mary Ann’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will forever be treasured by those who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held in private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.; 56 East Doughty St., Dunkirk, NY.
