Natalie J. Nickerson

She was born in Dunkirk, NY on Oct. 30, 1935 the daughter of the late Leon F. LeBarron and Eva Holtz (Regnald) Nickerson. She had been a resident of the Town of Pomfret for most of her life. Natalie was a devoted wife and mother and worked the family farm for many years. She enjoyed her animals, flowers, church activities, singing hymns and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her seven children: Eva Anderson of Oklahoma, Joan (late Gary) Bonnas of Portland; Sgt. Duane (Joan) Nickerson Jr. of Kentucky; Lauren (George) Davis of Forestville; Tammy (Shawn) Austin of Fredonia; Kathryn Claybrooke of Portland; and Edward (Wendy) Nickerson all of Fredonia; 21 Grand Children, special mention Shanna Nickerson, Lissa and Kiri Austin who took care of Natalie the last several years of her life; 18 great-grandchildren with one on the way; seven great-great-grandchildren, her brother, Jack LeBarron; and one half-sister Linda; also several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Duane H. Nickerson Sr., whom she married, on March 8,1952; her father, Leon LeBarron; her mother and step father, Eva Holtz (Regnald) Nickerson; two half sisters, Audrey and Joyce; and one step sister, Agnes; three brothers, Leon LeBarron, Alton Nickerson and Ronald Nickerson; four step brothers, Lawrence, Reginald, Robert and Ronald; and one great-grandson, Nathaniel.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 5, 2025 at Morse Funeral Home 19 E. Main St. Brocton, NY 14716 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM where a funeral service will be held Saturday Dec. 6, 2025 at 11 AM.

Interment will be in Webster Road Cemetery
