Ronald C. Lyman

Ronald C. Lyman, 87, of Berry Road, Fredonia, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025 at Heritage Park Health Care Center, Jamestown, following a short illness. He was born in Olean on Nov. 6, 1938, the son of the late Gordon and Edna (Lyman) Augie.

Ronald was a graduate of Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Laborer for the former Dunkirk Ice Cream and for many years, Ronald worked for the former Ontario Knife Company in Franklinville.

He participated with the Chautauqua Adult Day Care Center in Dunkirk for 13 years and was a member of the John W. Dill American Legion Post #434 in Brocton. Ronald enjoyed watching football and bowling. He was on many leagues in Franklinville.

Survivors include close friends Delores Langford, John Tatlow, Tara Hicks, Diane Hicks and June Whipple. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother; Gary Augie.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Spring. Private Interment will be in Villenova Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made to John W. Dill American Legion Post #434, 110 W Main St, Brocton, NY 14716.
