Tina Marie Armstrong, age 56 of Youngs Rd. Conewango Valley passed away Dec. 26, 2025 after a month in the ICU of Buffalo General Hospital due to a massive brain bleed on Nov. 24th. Tina was born June 21, 1969 in Gowanda, NY, the daughter of Gary and Cindy (Dewey) Lauer.
Tina is survived by the love of her life, Kenneth Armstrong, Son Joshua (Shannon) Armstrong of Angola, Daughter Autum Strawder of Perrysburg, Grandsons Gage Armstrong of Conewango Valley, Zildjian and Sabian Strawder of Perrysburg. Tina is also survived by her Brother Steven (Stephanie)Lauer (nieces Indya and Irelynn), Brother Sam (Kristy) Lauer (niece Kylie and nephew Noah) all of Perrysburg.
Tina is also survived by Grandmother Martha (Sager) Dewey and Great Aunt Linda Dewey of Perrysburg, Ken’s parents James and Deanna Armstrong of Gowanda, Ken’s sister Debbie (nieces; Whitney, Alex, Olivia & families) of Maine. Tina is preceded by Grandparents Harold and Zoe Lauer (Aunt Holly), Grandpa Donald Dewey and Uncle Thomas Dewey. She will be missed by her beloved dogs Rosey and Peanut.
Tina graduated from Gowanda Central School and continued education throughout her life in several areas of interest. She found her true calling in healthcare after surviving a brain tumor and severe complications from back surgery many years ago. She loved being a nurse, especially in recent years working for Dr. Connor in Randolph. She was a hard working, caring, generous person. She loved riding with husband Ken traveling on the motorcycle, and spending time with the family. Tina was a firefighter, EMT for the Conewango Fire Company. She was the main vendor (TnK Produce and More) at the Little Valley and South Dayton Farmer’s markets, if anyone asked for something special she would do her best to get whatever they wanted. She loved helping people all over the area, including the large Amish community. Tina was a health and wellbeing advocate, including being an organ donor herself.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2026.
