Jason R. Grube, 57, of Silver Creek, formerly of Portage, IN, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Gary, IN on May 2, 1968, the son of Sandra (Coles) Grube of Valparaiso, IN and the late John Grube.
Jason worked as an Iron Worker for Iron Workers Local #395 in Portage, IN for 20 years and as a Manager for Shay’s Furniture in Portage, IN. He served in the Army and was a member of Sheridan Memorial VFW Post #6390. Jason loved animals, nature & gardening.
Surviving besides his mother are his life partner, Ke-Khee Greenough of Silver Creek; a son, Joseph Grube; and a sister, Cassidy (Kenneth) Morgan. Also surviving are his maternal grandfather, William J. Coles of Muskegon, MI and two nephews, Elijah & Ian. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a stepson, Bobby Lee Yaus.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Indiana. Arrangements are by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
