Kurt W. Scott

Kurt graduated from Cassadaga Valley High School in 1985 and received his associate degree in Agriculture from Alfred State University. He has been employed by Cummins Inc since March 1993, and most of his career worked as a Skills Trade MR. He also owned and operated Scott’s Farm & Greenhouses.

Kurt is survived by his father and stepmom, Marian; his wife, Mischelle; his daughter, Ashley, his son, Zack (Liz) and daughter, Hannah. Also surviving are his brothers, Chris, Josh (Michelle); sisters, Lindsay and Tessa (Aaron); and many extended family members, as well as his nieces and nephews by whom he was adored.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robin Scott; and his grandparents, Kenneth and Marjorie Scott, and Joseph and Doris Funicello.

Kurt was a hard-working, family man. He enjoyed shooting pool, riding his Harley, hunting and fishing. He loved music and going to concerts. He loved his football and was a life-long Raiders fan. He was a member of the Lakewood Rod N Gun club, and the Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280.

Friends will be received by the family from 4-7 pm on Thursday, January 22 and from 11 am-12 pm pm on Friday, January 23. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm at Jordan Funeral Home 6 Parkway Dr. Sinclairville, NY 14782.
