Lawrence C. Greco
Lawrence C. Greco, 79, of Silver Creek passed away peacefully on Saturday morning Jan. 10, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.
Larry was born on Sept. 27, 1946 in Silver Creek, NY the son of the late Lawrence C. Sr. and Millie (nee Genovese) Greco. He married the love of his life the former Katherine Burchett on Oct. 23, 1993 in Sheridan, NY.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Katherine Greco; his loving daughters, Trish (Tommy) Fleissner of Silver Creek, NY and Nicole (Jude) Gardner of Fredonia, NY; a sister, Mary Jo (Paul) Greco- Williams of Murphy, NC; eight cherished grandchildren, Jude (Malia) Gardner, Bayleigh Bobik, Patrick Franklin, Dakota (Sarah) Gardner, Dalton Gardner, Dominick Mangus, Anthony Miller and Gavin Mangus; four great- grandchildren, Dakota Gardner Jr, Kaytum Bobik, Leighton and Decklyn Gardner; his mother-in-law, Shirley Hickling; three sister-in-laws, Joyce Parker, Darlene Burchett and Karen (Dwayne) Dustin; a brother-in-law, Robert Burchett; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his family and many great friends.
He is predeceased by a son, Robert Mangus Jr., a sister, Debbie Muscarella, brother-in-law, Howard Burchett and his step father-in-law, Daniel Hickling.
Larry was a lifelong area resident, who owned and operated K&L Concrete for many years. His passion for concrete can be seen throughout Silver Creek as there are several driveways, steps, and sidewalks he poured through the years.
In his free time, he enjoyed playing with his remote controlled boats, cars and helicopters. He loved sitting in the back yard also known as Larry’s Leisure Land with a cold beer. Larry also enjoyed throwing big summer parties and turkey roasts.
Larry was a man of strength, integrity and compassion. He lived his life with purpose and generosity. He had a rare ability to make people feel valued and supported, whether through his words, his actions or simply his steady presence. His kindness was loud and left a lasting impression to everyone who was fortunate to know him.
Throughout his life he achieved remarkable things. He loved doing what was right and doing his best in all he did. He faced challenges with courage and never stopped striving to make life better for those he loved. Above all else, he cherished his family and loved ones. He was full of guidance, encouragement and unconditional love. Larry’s legacy lives on in the lessons he taught the memories he created, and the many lives he touched. Rest in peace your life was a gift and your legacy will live on.
As per Larry’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
