Linda L. Carpenter (Littlefield) born Feb. 14, 1942 in Buffalo, NY. Passed peacefully on Jan. 2, 2026. Linda was predeceased by her husband, James; her parents, Lee and Catherine Littlefield; and her brother, Wayne Littlefield Sr. She is survived by her nephew, Wayne Littlefield; her nieces, Ellen (Neil) Weissman, Lynn Littlefield and Amy Littlefield; great nieces and nephew, Lindsey Weissman, Natalie Weissman and Aiden Jablonski.
Linda was a graduate of Hamburg High School, Class of 1960. She worked for D&F Tel. from 1964 to 1969, then was the first female city clerk of Dunkirk, NY for two years then worked and retired from National Fuel Gas after 25 years of service.
Linda was a member of Hamburg Presbyterian from 1955 to 1963 when she married her husband James and moved to Dunkirk. She was a member of Dunkirk Presbyterian for 35 years where she was a deacon, a ruling elder and clerk of session. She also belonged to Port Charlotte Presbyterian.
Linda loved playing golf with friends and entertaining.
