Douglas S. Aikin
Douglas S. Aikin, 80, from Normandy, MO. passed away on Jan. 29, 2026. Doug was born in Dunkirk and graduated from Fredonia High School class of 63. He was very active in his community and spent many hours at the community garden. His passion was rehabbing old houses, he enjoyed gardening, bee keeping and was an avid Bills fan.
He is survived by his sister, Sherry Eismann of Butler, PA; brother, Steve Aikin of Fort Worth, Texas; sons, Christopher and Jonathan (Allison) of St. Louis; and granddaughter, Rosie; nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania, Texas, Colorado, and Denmark. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara and parents, Don and Betty Aikin.
A celebration of Doug’s life will be held in St. Louis early summer. He will be missed by his family and many friends he made along the way.
