John K.E. Horst

Born January 30, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA, Mr. Horst held degrees in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and Business from Hofsta University. He spent his working life, first as an Aeronautical Engineer on Long Island, NY and later as a Management Consultant in New York City where he rose to be Vice President of Golightly & Co. International, Inc. before his retirement to Vermont. In later years, Mr. Horst was, at various times, an avid outdoorsman, an accomplished glider pilot, a writer for outdoor oriented periodicals and an active local volunteer.

He is predeceased by his wife, Kathleen E. Brettell Horst and will be sorely missed. Online condolences may be made at larsontimkofuneralhome.com.
