Paul V. Marsala

Paul V. Marsala, 80, of Westfield, NY entered into rest Jan. 29, 2026, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Erie, PA.

He was born on April 30, 1945, in Westfield, NY to his late parents Charles and Eva Marie (Bonorato) Marsala.

Paul attended Westfield Academy then went to work for various grape farmers in the area for most of his life, working in the vineyards until the age of 79. Paul also owned his own business, where he excelled as a craftsman who could build or refinish any piece of furniture. He was a member of St. James Major Roman Catholic Church in Westfield. Paul as also a member of the Westfield Volunteer Fire Dept.

Paul was a brother, an uncle, a Godfather and a friend. Those who loved him will remember his great laugh, sense of humor and stubborn streak. He was kind-hearted, forever helpful and strong-willed. Paul was a wonderful cook and marvelous baker. Everything he made, he made with creativity and love. Paul enjoyed spending time with family, working in his woodshop, and listening to music–there was always a record playing. He loved animals, especially his Aussie Shepherd, Gemma.

He is survived by his sister Mary Ann (Marsala) Ellington, sister-in-law Elena (Rinderle) Marsala, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Paul is predeceased by his wife Rose Marie (Caruso) Marsala, his brother Theodore C. Marsala, and Panda, his ever-faithful K-9 companion.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Morse Funeral Home, Brocton, NY
