Melvin L. Schneider, 87, of Dunkirk, passed away Saturday morning, March 7, 2026 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. at McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home; 736 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church; 1032 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY. Military Honors will be held by the Dunkirk Joint Veteran Council immediately following the Mass.
Interment will be held in Willowbrook Park Cemetery. A complete obituary will be published in Wednesday’s edition of the Dunkirk Observer.
