Richard C. Test
Richard C. Test, 84, of Dunkirk, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at home Thursday morning, March 26, 2026. Born in Fredonia on May 19, 1941, he was the husband of the late Ann Marie (Jourdanais) Test and son of the late William and Marjorie (Guest) Test.
Richard served honorably in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1961. He worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed watching golf and NASCAR. His favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. He loved going camping, trips to the casino, but above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Richard was a member of the First and Fourth Ward Falcon Club, Dom Polski Club and he was a life member at the Moniuszko Club.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Lisa (Dan) Lukasik, Karen (Bill) Burgess, and Barbara (Charles) Jamieson; grandchildren, Rebecca Lukasik, Daniel Lukasik Jr, Christopher Shutt, John Patterson, Charles Jamieson, Richard Burgess, and William Burgess; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Ernest (Shirley) Test and sister-in-laws, Mary and Ann Marie Test. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann Marie (Jourdanais) Test; infant daughter ,Kimberly Test; siblings, Ronald, Raymond, and Robert Test, Marjorie Bannister, and David Test.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by R. Michael Mackowiak III; R.Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY.
