Betty A. Mancuso
Betty Ann Mancuso, 68, formerly of Fredonia, NY, went home to Jesus, who she had a personal relationship with, on Sunday March 29, 2026 at the Houghton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Houghton, NY. Betty Ann battled health problems throughout her life. She was born Oct. 27, 1957, in Dunkirk, daughter of the late Cosimo and Jennie (Maulucci) Mancuso.
Raised in Fredonia, she attended and graduated from St. Anthony Catholic School and Fredonia High School. She then went on to Hilbert College in Hamburg, NY where she studied Criminal Justice. Betty Ann worked as a Loss Prevent Office at Sears & Robuck in Hamburg. Many might remember Betty Ann from when she worked at the Fotomat kiosks in Fredonia. She also enjoyed various crafts as a hobby. Above all, Betty Ann was a woman of great faith, a faith that guided her throughout her life.
Betty Ann is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Ardillo, of Fredonia and Mary Ann Kreger, of Sheridan; two brothers-in-law, James White and Mark Seybold; she is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Karen White, who was a great source of support to her. Besides her parents, Cosimo and Jennie Mancuso, Betty Ann is predeceased by three sisters: Rose (late Edward) Boll, Carmella White, Linda Seybold and her brother, John Mancuso (late Sally Kucharski), and two brothers-in- law, Ronald Gloss and David Ardillo
Calling hours will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, Monday from 5-7 pm. Betty Ann will be buried from her Home Church, St. Anthony Church in Fredonia. A Church she truly loved, was raised in and from where she received all her sacraments. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church, (Cushing & Orchard Sts.) Fredonia, NY, Tuesday at 11 am. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Mass cards in Betty Ann’s memory would be appreciated as would memorial contributions to the Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, 336 Washington St., Dunkirk, NY 14048. Arrangements by David J.
