Linda Marie Depasquale, 64, of Dunkirk NY passed away on April 12, 2026 at Brooks Memorial Hospital surrounded by friends and family. She was born in Dunkirk NY on Oct. 17, 1961, the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Moch) Krzakala. Linda lost her five year battle to a very rare form of cancer called Neuroendocrine tumor.
Linda was known for her friendly nature, her bright smile and a laugh that could light up any room. She truly had one of the sweetest kindest souls, and her warmth touched everyone she met. She was deeply loved by her Home Depot and Hills family, where she built meaningful connections and friendships. In her free time, Linda found happiness in the simple joys of life- especially playing bingo and spending time at the casino, where her fun-loving spirit always shined through. Linda was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Knicks fan and she loved her Jalen Brunson.
Survivors include her loving husband Joseph Depasquale of 44 amazing years, daughter, Jennifer (Candice) Depasquale, son, Eric Depasquale, also Emily (Zach) Schaffer and her grandchildren, Ryley, Taylor, and Olivia. Siblings include Judy Bleck, Joseph Krzakala, and Gary Krzakala. Linda also had many other family members whom she loved dearly.
Linda will be remembered for her compassion, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will live on in all who knew her.
There will be no formal funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club on Mullet St. in Dunkirk on May 2, 2026 at 4 pm.
