Thomas P. Feneran Sr.

Thomas P. Feneran Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Fiddler’s Green Manor Nursing Home in Springville, NY.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1933, in Bradford, Pa., the son of the late George and Mary Rowena (Westlake) Feneran. He married the former Joan P. Hall on Dec. 31, 1975, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 6, 2017, after 41 years of marriage.

Tom is survived by two children, Rowena (late Clifford) Lancaster of Olean, NY and Cynthia Calkins of Salamanca, NY; five step-children: David (Pamela) Young of Livonia, NY; Diane Young of Panama, NY; and Douglas (Darcy) Young of Livonia, NY; Robin (David) Gabel of Silver Creek; NY and Wendy (Michael) Dempsey of Shelby Twp., MI.; also survived by 24 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas Jr., Daniel and Richard Feneran.

Tom graduated from Ellicottville High School, “Class of 1952”. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and he worked for UPS which he always referred to as “Buster Brown” retiring after more than 30 years of service. Tom loved his job as an over the road driver.

Tom’s world revolved around his family; and in his free time, he enjoyed golfing and bowling.
