Arlene Jamieson (Koba)
Arlene Jamieson (Koba), 87, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Born on November 10, 1938, Arlene was the daughter of the late Walter and Maxine Koba.
Arlene worked at Liberty National Bank as an assistant manager before later becoming office manager for Don Frame Trucking, where she remained until her retirement in 1992. Following retirement, she and her husband moved to Lakeland, Florida, where they enjoyed golfing and traveling with friends and family. One of her proudest accomplishments was scoring her first hole-in-one at Cypress Lakes Golf Course. She was also an active member of several clubs and organizations throughout her life.
Arlene is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, John Jamieson; her daughters, Cheryl (John) Corbett and Debra (Rod) Sechrist; her son, Jeffrey Jamieson; her grandchildren, Jami Beisler, Calvin Thompson, Amanda Saddleson, Corey King, Jonathan Jamieson, Emily (Rob) Harris, and Ashley (Jack) Crimmen; as well as 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Walter (Pat) Koba Jr., and her sister, Geraldine (Dirk) Raat.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed her home.
