Sandra J. Cridland

Sandy worked for the former JN Adam Developmental Center in Perrysburg helping disabled people. She enjoyed watching CSI and Law & Order: SVU. Sandy liked crocheting, doing needlepoint and loved collecting stuffed animals. Roller skating was her passion; when she competed she “ran the rink”. Sandy leaves behind many cherished memories and will be remembered for her spitfire personality.

Survivors include two daughters; Elizabeth “Liz” (Joe) Jurczak of Forestville & Laura Lynden of Fredonia and a son; William “Billy” Schank of Alabama. Also surviving are four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Theodore G. Cridland, whom she married on March 4, 1977 in First United Church and who died on September 8, 2017, an infant daughter, Pamela Schank, her brother, Fillmore Miller and her beloved dog, “Pugsley”.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorials may be made either to Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, NY 14048 or the SPCA, 300 Harlem Road, West Seneca, NY 14224. Arrangements are by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
