Terry L. Presto, of Brocton, NY, entered into rest on May 19, 2026, with his loving family by his side. He was born on May 9, 1952. Son of the late Philip and Mary Presto.

Terry was the cherished husband of 45 years to Susan (Moger) Presto. Devoted and caring father of Stephanie Humm (Brian Wojcinski), Ashleigh (TJ) Scheu, and Joshua Cheverez. Proud grandfather of five grandchildren, with one more lovingly anticipated. Brother of late Carl Presto and survived by nephews, Kevin,Shawn and Brandon Presto.

A lifelong athlete and coach, Terry was well known throughout Western New York for his love of softball and dedication to local sports. He played fastpitch and modified softball for over five decades with numerous championship teams across the region, competing throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and Ontario.

Terry was equally passionate about coaching and mentoring young athletes. Following his retirement from Brocton Central Schools in 2014 after 11 years as a Physical Education teacher, he continued to make an impact through athletics. He coached high school baseball for 20 years, varsity football for five years, and proudly served as an assistant coach for the Fredonia varsity baseball team, helping guide the program to the NYSPHSAA Class B Finals in 2025.

A dedicated educator, Terry retired after many years of teaching Physical Education at Brocton High School, where he made a lasting impact on generations of students. He was also a gifted athlete and passionate sportsman. Terry was an avid golfer, a softball Hall of Fame outfielder and first baseman, and an All-Conference running back during his years at Brocton High School.

Terry will be remembered for his love of family, sports, teaching, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.
