Patricia A. Raby

She was born July 21, 1947 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Howard and Verna (Mitrision) Canty.

On August 17, 1968, she married David Raby, who survives.

Mrs. Raby was an Elementary Teacher in North Tonawanda Central School for 27 years and was an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Fredonia for 10 years.

She loved gardening, knitting and was a loving grandmother.

Besides her loving husband of 57 years, she is survived by two daughters, Heather (Ben) Westlund of Versailles, NY and Jessica (Paul) Csati of Versailles, NY; and two grandchildren, Lyric and Darwin Westlund. Also surviving is a brother, Michael (Denise) Canty, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, John Canty.

Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 105 East Main St. in Gowanda, NY on Friday June 26, 2026 from 4-7pm from Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 27, 2026 at 11am from the funeral home.
