Born in Dunkirk NY on September 18, 1947 to Donald (Gramps) and Bridget Stoyle.
She attended St. Mary's parochial and Cardinal Mindszenty School, Class of 1965.
Ann Marie married Thomas Maternowski on April 29,1967. She loved being a mother to Christopher (Amy) and John (Angela). When the boys were older, she enjoyed her time as a teacher's aide at the former Holy Trinity grade school.
She held things together for her family as Tom's career took them to Louisiana, Maryland and finally Kentucky where she passed on surrounded by family, caring friends and neighbors. Family was most important to her.
She was predeceased by husband, Tom, son, John, mother and father, brother, Tim, nephew, Scott Stoyle, sister in laws, Sandy Stoyle and Sally Berger and niece, Susan(Gorka)Stoyle.
Survivors include son and caregivers, Christopher (Amy). Brothers, James(Jidge), Pat(Kathy) and Donny (Audrey).Daughter in law, Angela, sister in law, Donna Stoyle. Grandchildren, Allie(Tucker) Duplesis, Alec, Tommy, Cailey(Jacob)Kiepper, and Great Grandson, Johnny Kiepper. Nieces and nephews, Shawn(Darcy), Stacy(Anthony),Tricia (Mike),Tim (Sarah),Kelly (Jake),Holly and Cody. Great nieces and nephews, Sheamus, Shaleigh,Sinead,Sophia,Gabriella,Patton, Jackson, Ryan, Roan,Austin, Jack, Alyssa, and Shae.
Annie as she was lovingly called will be celebrated with a mass on SEPT 2Oth, 10:00 am at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CHURCH.
